Hello
Just want some educated advice on this one:
Do we really need to return to the doctor after a year for post-op care?
I had breast surgery and they look great! Not cheap may I tell you.
I love it, I look great and I feel great. The only thing that bothers me is that my doctor would still like to see me even after a year from my surgery and I pay for every visit.
I want to know if this is normal or if I should stop coming in for future consultations?
Please help.
Beauty is an investment and is expensive… but I want to know i it is still necessary to spend more after a year of surgery.
GraceGuestPost-operative care is crucial in plastic surgery as it directly impacts the success of the procedure and the healing process. Proper care helps minimize complications, reduces swelling, and ensures optimal results. Following the surgeon’s instructions closely is key to achieving the best possible outcome and maintaining long-term results.
GraceGuestYes, follow-up visits with the plastic surgeon after a year can be important, depending on the procedure. This appointment allows the surgeon to assess the long-term results, ensure that healing is complete, and address any concerns or complications that may have arisen over time. It also provides an opportunity to discuss any adjustments or future treatments, ensuring that the patient remains satisfied with the outcome.
Tina GreeneGuestI had my arm lift at 55 after losing a significant amount of weight. It was definitely worth it, but the recovery was longer than I expected. I’d recommend doing plenty of research and having realistic expectations, especially at our age. Feel free to ask me anything!
